Learning and training isn’t reserved just for the range. Instead, your time at the range should be testing how effective your training at home is. There are various topics we can work on during your lesson(s). Examples include, but are not limited to: 

• Becoming familiar with your firearm, their parts and workings.
• How to manipulate/dry fire your firearm. 
  • This includes loading and unloading your magazines and firearms, racking and locking back the slide, how to clear your firearm, and more. 
• Firearm safety rules and how to safely handle your firearm. This includes firearm and ammo storage, and how to ensure your firearm is unloaded.
• Muzzle awareness and keeping your finger off the trigger.
• Gun cleaning and maintenance. This includes disassembling and reassembling your firearm.
• Practicing and improving on the shooting fundamentals.
  • Eye dominance, grip, stance, posture, breathing control, trigger control, trigger reset, sight alignment and  sight picture.
• Different types of malfunctions and how to clear them.
• Different types of reloads (administrative, tactical, and emergency).
• Different types of ready positions.
• Drawing from a holster (both inside and outside of the waistband). 
• Gear selection (carry belt, carry clothes, carry holster, etc.).
